Joyous News! My first trunk!

Ladies and gents, I have to share this proud moment. I bought a trunk! A storage area! Yippee!

Now, the hard part is tackling what to put in it. I know the rule of thumb is not to buy any storage solutions until you know what you need to store, but in my case it’s about everything that is showing in our living room area.

I’m debating between shoes or DVDs. I’m leaning towards DVDs, though, until I find my beautiful ottoman/bench (idea totally stolen from the folks over at younghouselove.com, I will admit) for the dining table. Then perhaps I’ll switch it out for shoes. But there are things that need to be hidden, and clutter to be taken away.
