Born a dog, died a lady.

“Not the least hard thing to bear when they go from us, these quiet friends, is that they carry away with them so many years of our own lives.”
– John Galsworthy

Ralph passed away this past Friday. I will sincerely miss her with all of my heart. The pups were a little lost without her this weekend, but things are getting better.

I wish I had read this earlier. It’s been a while since I’ve checked your site, and now I am updating myself with all the posts I’ve missed.

Cj, I am so incredibly sorry about Ralph. She was the most beautiful, sweet, and reliable dog I have ever met (and, though I probably shouldn’t say, my absolute favorite dog ever – which is saying something, as you know my feelings towards dogs in general!). Though a bit belated, I do (and will continue to) give my love and support for you and your mom.

And again, I am so sorry for not responding to this sooner. I love you, despite distance (physically and friendship-wise) and drifting and everything, and I will take this to remember to be better about keeping in touch. Hope everything else is okay otherwise, and as I said, I love you!
