Organize Me: The Plastic Bag cabinet.

Since we moved, a cabinet has been dedicated to the plastic bags we get after grocery shopping. I opened it today and realized something needed to be done.

Something you might want to know about me: I am a queen of organizing. It’s a hobby. I love it.

After deciding that this bag situation was not okay, I finally went ahead and organized it the way I had been planning on for a while. I read a tip a while back about putting all of your plastic bags into the paper towel cardboad tubes in order to save space, so I had saved a few of them, ready for this day.

I also downsized the amount of shopping bags we had, too, not really seeing the need for 10+ bags. After I ran out of my cardboad tubes, I used an old tissue paper box to store some more.

I even organized and found all of our green shopping bags (thanks to PNC, grocery stores, and True Value of course!) and put them together so we can easily reach for them on our next shopping trip and continue to downsize the amount of plastic bags we keep bringing home!

The rest of the bags I put together and will be recycling at our local recycling center in town.

So there we have it! One more place organized in our tiny home.

I’ll end with a puppy update:
