NYC! And tons of links to favorite things right now.

I’m going to NYC! I’ll be back on friday with tons of inspiration from the urban kingdom.

I have been working hard on the side garden and I should post pictures soon – once the mulch is done I’ll feel more confident posting them because it will finally all look connected! I have recently become obsessed with defining the side garden because it’s on the side that faces the road, and since our house is on a corner the cars driving will hopefully get to notice it! That is one good thing about having the corner lot – only one neighbor (new ones, just moved in) and just the road. And the road sign in our lawn.

Besides the garden, I have been diligently trying my hand at Spring Cleaning and have been reading up on tips and suggestions over at Real Simple when I came across this article that I had to share: Quick Cleaning Solutions for Every Room. Living now with two guys, I am constantly trying to figure out quick tidy up tips and cut down on my cleaning time because I have other things to do! This is where I found an awesome product: Method Flushable Wipes. They are biodegradable!

Also, while scouring Design Sponge I came across this idea that now is going to be stuck in my head until Jason says no, no, no to it. Peg board! Kitchen! You can take a look at the post here, but I have added a picture to confirm how organized this could make our kitchen (possibly). I’m worried about it looking too funky.
